About the Acerola cherry:
Even the indigenous peoples of the Maya culture regarded Acerola as a source of health and greatly appreciated its small healing fruits. However, the name Acerola was only given by the Spanish conquerors, who called it "azarole," meaning "useful and pretty," as the exotic fruits visually reminded them of the sweet cherries from their homeland. In German-speaking countries, they are therefore also referred to as Acerola cherries or Barbados cherries.

Note:
Since our Acerola organic powder contains no preservatives or additives, it is highly hygroscopic (attracts moisture from the air). We therefore recommend keeping the zip closure tightly sealed or transferring the powder to a jar with a rubber seal upon receipt.

Recommended dosage:
1 level teaspoon (1 - 2 g daily).
