It should be repalced every 3 months. You will get 2 color-coded Water Flosser replacement tips per package (color of tips may vary). Recommended for use with WP-100 is White Ultra Water Flosser, for WP-300 - Traveler Water Flosser, for WP-450 - White Cordless Plus Water Flosser and for WP-861 - Waterpik Complete Care 5.0.

The nozzle has three thin bristle strands that reach hard-to-remove plaque on implants, crowns, bridges, veneers and other areas that are particularly prone to plaque build-up.
