Despite its armour, our armadillo is cuddly soft and especially in need of a cuddle. In Spanish, it is called Armadillo, which means ''the little armoured one''. Normally it likes to live on the ground because of its fear of heights, but if you hold it very carefully, it forgets its fear, nestles softly in your arms and listens enthusiastically to your stories.
