The olfactory composition evokes the sublime elegance of the Galleria, which connects the Gothic solemnity of the Duomo with the neoclassical style of Piermarini. As a shining example of steel architecture, the Galleria was built in 1865 in Milan and was faithfully replicated 15 years later at the request of the Tsar in the Moscow Department Store on Red Square. In the so-called "Salon of Milan," the aromas of cafés and tea rooms blend with the expensive perfumes of women in evening gowns and men in tuxedos who cross the salon on their way to the La Scala Opera House. Julie Massé created an exciting cocktail of hazelnut, vanilla, and coffee, tuberose, cinnamon, and cedarwood.

"The fragrance is inspired by the unique atmosphere of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. I sit on a café terrace, enjoying an exquisite Italian espresso perfectly paired with a piece of airy-light panettone and an addictive Piemontese. Under the glass ceiling that lets in the sky and light, I admire the beautiful architecture, the colorful mosaics, and the golden tones. This place is an expression of pure luxury, Italian sophistication, and modern bourgeoisie. I wanted to capture this atmosphere in a luxurious fragrance. Naturally, valuable ingredients came to mind: coffee for the Italian touch, the floral opulence of the typical Tuscan tuberose, and the sensuality of vanilla."
