Trussardi Aperitivo Milanese Porta Nuova

With notes of amaretto and citrusy accents from mandarin leaves, perfumer Emilie Coppermann celebrates the contrast between Italian, sociable tradition and the absolute modernity of the district that houses Italy's tallest skyscrapers. The brightness of Calabrian bergamot is elevated by neroli, while the olfactory depth of heliotrope is softened by the sweetness of the base notes (amber, vanilla, benzoin).

"Porta Nuova may appear as a cold, modern architectural square, but it is actually full of sociability, where people of all ages gather after work to shop or enjoy an aperitif. I wanted to translate this relaxed, warm atmosphere into a fragrance. Olfactorily speaking, the calming almond note, which is at the heart of my creation, evokes the typical scent of amaretto. I crowned the fragrance with the finest citrus fruits: Italian neroli and Calabrian bergamot. I also enhanced the softness of this note with a sensual, amber background.
