Product details

The surgical disposable masks of type IIR EN 14683: 2019 consist of three layers of nonwoven fabric, each serving a specific function. The outer layer, made with spunbond technology, is water-repellent and provides strength to the mask. The middle layer, produced using meltblown technology, acts as a particle filter. The inner layer, also made with spunbond technology, protects the face by avoiding direct contact with the filtering middle layer. The fabric used (nonwoven) is treated with an environmentally friendly agent that is both virus- and water-repellent. It carries the international environmental certification GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). A surgical mask should generally be replaced after 6-8 hours of use.
