Vitamin C is an effective antioxidant that brightens the skin tone and reduces signs of aging. Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate is an oil-soluble derivative of Vitamin C that can be used in higher concentrations without drawbacks. It is one of the most stable derivatives of Vitamin C; however, its effectiveness, being a derivative, is not directly comparable to pure L-Ascorbic Acid. This oil formulation is combined with Vitamin F, also known as essential fatty acids. In addition to the general benefits of pure Vitamin C, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate has been shown to provide specific advantages for skin brightening.
