The Royal Stones collection by The House of Oud is enriched by a new gemstone that recalls the many shades of red in Queen Elizabeth II's jewelry. Among the jewels of her favorite pieces is the scarab made of rubies, gold, and diamonds, which the Duke of Edinburgh gifted her in 1966. It is one of the most original pieces in her collection.

The brooch captivates with its irregular and joyful shape, an explosion of modernity amidst the heirlooms of past queens. Prince Philip commissioned it from Andrew Grima, the most renowned London designer of the latter half of the last century, entrusting him with rubies that, according to legend, came from an ancient Indian headdress.
