The irradiation with UV-C light disrupts the genetic material of viruses and bacteria (RNA cleavage), rendering them inactive and thus harmless. The application is very simple: connect the disinfection box to a USB power source using the included USB cable. Then, place the items to be cleaned inside. This UV-C disinfection device offers nearly complete elimination of viruses and bacteria, with the manufacturer Technaxx stating a sterilization efficiency of 99.9%.
