Pelican is the lightest of the V10 models. Thanks to its curved design combined with the convex Hamaguri grind, this scissor makes slicing techniques particularly easy. The triangular scissor blade is exceptionally hard, allowing for precise cuts. The V10 cobalt steel is Takai's latest super alloy, providing the scissors in the V10 range with optimal durability and lifespan. Hamaguri grind: The scissor blades are concavely curved on the inside (hollow grind) and feature convex edges with a series of seven cutting angles. This gives the Toucan scissors unparalleled sharpness, edge retention, and smooth operation. Precise adjustment of cutting pressure with an adjustment screw mounted on a ball bearing.
