The Hamaguri grind: The scissor blades are concavely curved on the inside (hollow grind), and the convex edges feature a series of seven cutting angles. This gives the Toucan scissors unparalleled sharpness, edge retention, and smooth operation. The precise adjustment of cutting pressure is achieved with an adjustment screw mounted on a ball bearing.

The ergonomic shape features a pronounced rest for the index and middle fingers, an integrated finger hook, and an anatomically angled thumb hole.
