The suprima 2008 hip protector is designed to protect against hip or femoral neck fractures. The protector is made from viscoelastic soft foam, sealed in PVC film, and is compatible with all suprima hip protector briefs, featuring a special cushioning system. It responds to different types of stress: upon a quick impact (e.g., a fall), the soft foam hardens, providing optimal fall protection, while it remains pleasantly soft under slow pressure (e.g., lying on the side in bed). After the stress, the protector automatically returns to its original shape and can be reused without limitations. Even in a lying position, the ergonomically shaped protector offers ideal wearing comfort.
