Capsules containing branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) leucine, valine, and isoleucine in an optimal ratio of 3:1:1. Unlike other amino acids, BCAAs are directly absorbed and metabolized by the muscles. They primarily serve as fuel for the body during exertion. When supply is insufficient, the body resorts to muscle tissue, which consists of 35% BCAAs. The body also produces glutamine from BCAAs, the most abundant amino acid in muscle, which serves various functions. The ratio of BCAAs to the amino acid tryptophan changes under stress, accelerating the formation of the fatigue-promoting substance serotonin. Supplementing with BCAAs during performance prevents an excess of serotonin and thereby delays central fatigue during prolonged endurance activities. Application:
Strength athletes: Approximately 2 capsules per 10 kg of body weight divided into 2 servings, taking the first shortly before and the second shortly after training. Endurance athletes: During long endurance activities, 2-4 capsules per hour and an additional 1 capsule per 10 kg of body weight shortly after performance.
