Product details
Current research findings indicate that teeth grinding not only disrupts nighttime rest unpleasantly. It is known in holistic dentistry that the trigger for many acute or chronic diseases in the mouth lies within. Pain in the jaw joints and facial muscles, headaches, migraines, tinnitus, and general daytime fatigue are often the first signs of bruxism, the technical term for the unconscious grinding and clenching of teeth. Depending on the duration and intensity of bruxism, chronic jaw joint inflammation, severe tooth wear, and loosening of teeth with subsequent gum inflammation are some of the serious consequences. It is now understood that psychological stress and general stress situations are almost always the causes of bruxism. It is no surprise that in our performance-driven society, every second person is affected by it. There is no causal treatment for bruxism with medication. The only option is to reduce stress. However, this is often easier said than done. It is practical, as it is self-modeling and provides optimal dental protection without neglecting the comfort that a similar device must offer within the oral cavity.
