Contraindications

• in case of disturbed sensitivity to heat/cold

• on open wounds

• with tumours or eczema, as well as with cardiovascular diseases

• non-compliant or kidney and bladder sensitive patients

• in infants or small children under 1 year of age, as their sensation of warmth or cold can be different from that of adults.
