It is soothing and helpful where warmth is needed, for example, in cases of muscle tension, discomfort in the gastrointestinal area, or cold-related unease. The compress provides pleasant, moist warmth and gently and flexibly conforms to the body for a comfortable and effective application. It can be heated in the microwave or oven.
