Spiral perm rods are becoming increasingly popular. They create soft, flowing, corkscrew-like curls, making them ideal for medium to long hair. They are very easy to use. The curl diameter is determined by the thickness of the chosen rods. Here's how to do it: You will need spiral rods with a fastening clip and end papers. Section the hair and hook the spiral rod at the hairline. Twist the strand onto the spiral rod. Wrap the ends of the hair in the end paper and secure it with the fastening clip on the rod. Rods of varying thickness can be combined. Once the hairstyle is fully set, you can proceed with the water or perm as usual. The result is soft, flowing, corkscrew-like curls.
