Sesderma Kojicol Plus Depigmentation Gel

Kojicol Plus non-greasy gel (oil-free) corrects melanic pigmentations faster and more effectively than other depigmentators. It is based on 5% kojic acid, which inhibits melanogenesis by blocking tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for melanin production. Additionally, it has sunscreen properties and a moderate bacteriostatic effect, making it very useful in the topical treatment of acne lesions. It works with a combination of ingredients: alpha-arbutin, extract of Phyllanthus emblica, phytic acid, boswellic acids, and mulberry extract, which provide a lightening and antioxidant synergistic effect while offering hydration and soothing irritation. The whitening effect of kojic acid is significantly enhanced by the presence of AHAs (8% glycolic acid and citric acid), which remove the outer layer of the skin, producing exfoliation and allowing both kojic acid and phytic acid to penetrate melanin-laden cells.
