At the International Nutrition Research Center (INRC) in Florida, Prof. Dr Lucà-Moretti has recreated this master amino acid pattern. Today, it is used as a pure foodstuff for nutritional purposes or as a dietary supplement. With a net nitrogen utilisation of 99% NNU, it achieves the highest protein nutritional value worldwide. In other words: 99% of AS is used for body protein synthesis and thus for protein nutrition of the body. As a result, only 1% of AS goes the way of nitrogen waste.
