Vitamins of the B-complex are involved in a large number of important metabolic processes in the body and contribute significantly to mental and physical well-being.
Especially under heavy stress, for example at work or at home, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B7, B9 and B12 play an important role for the nerves and psyche. In addition, folic acid can contribute to reducing feelings of tiredness and fatigue.
Vitamins B1, B2, niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), B6, biotin (B7) and B12 all play a role in healthy energy metabolism. With the exception of pantothenic acid (B5), they also contribute to healthy nerve function. Folic acid (B9) helps reduce fatigue and tiredness.
The B vitamin complex includes extremely important vital substances that must be ingested daily because the body cannot produce them itself.
All B vitamins are water-soluble and can therefore be stored only insufficiently. Only vitamin B12 can be stored by the organism in the liver.
