The main difference between the WP-660 and the Waterpik Professional Whitening WF-05 is the whitening function and the modes available.
The WP-660 is a hydropulper with 2 operating modes, a 650 ml reservoir, 1400 pulses per minute, and a massage function for gum health. It is designed for effective cleaning with advanced pressure control and an integrated timer.
As well as the classic hydropulper functions, the WF-05 includes a specific tooth whitening function. It allows you to use whitening tablets in the handle, which dissolve in water to help remove surface stains from teeth using gentle abrasive agents such as silica and glycerine. This model also features a massage mode and a timer/pacer for even cleaning.
To sum up:
- WP-660: standard hydropolisher with 2 modes, 650 ml tank, 1400 pulses/min, massage function, no whitening function.
- WF-05: sprayer with tablet bleach function, 10 pressure settings, massage mode, timer/pacer, designed to remove superficial stains.
The WF-05 is therefore more geared towards combined cleaning and whitening, while the WP-660 focuses on effective cleaning and gum health.
I'm not sure. It has 6 attachments. One is specifically for braces and is called the Orthodontic nozzle. Another one is called Pik Pocket Subgingival Nozzle and is for gum pockets. If so, then one of these two. The others are ordinary ones.
Yes, this model is suitable for implants. It is suitable for people with bridges or implants as well as other dental restorations. However, for optimum results with implants, the use of a special attachment such as the Plaque Seeker nozzle is often recommended, but this is not supplied as standard with this model.
The hydropulper's reservoir has a capacity of 650 ml, which equates to around 90 seconds of use. In terms of power, the device is mains operated and has no wattage specification, but it does offer a pressure control system with 10 settings, ranging from 10 to 100 PSI.
Hello. This seems to be a general weak point of the product. My valve has also been defective for some time. I haven't taken the container off since then, otherwise the water runs out the bottom. Sorry, I don't know how to help, but at least you are not alone and maybe Galaxus can contact the manufacturer.
The dimensions from the manufacturer are as follows: Height: 21.00 cm (with attachment: 28.29 cm)
Width: 11.93 cm, depth: 11.65 cm (with plug outlet 13.00 cm). The dimensions are often only approximate and therefore vary slightly
Good evening Rolf,
It's actually quite simple:
1. log in to Galaxus
2. click on the user name at the top right
3. then click on "Orders"
4. click on "Show order details" on the right-hand side of the corresponding order
5. then click on "Enter return"
Fill in everything here and the return is initiated.
Good luck!
Manfred
I’ve checked and compare the 2 versions, to be honest I don’t really see the difference. It may be an EU version vs. a US version. What I can say is that it’s just the best water floss I’ve found after having tried 3 différents bigs brands. After many months, i realize that I’m not really using all the accessories but just the main one.
