I don't think I understand the question correctly. What does normal charging station or charging glass mean? The machine is exactly as you see it in the picture. The small charger with cable and a detachable plastic part where the two brushes are plugged in. I hope you can do something with my answer.
I had the same problem. The first time it was still within the warranty. When it happened the second time, it wasn't. Disappointing.

In my opinion, all toothbrushes are the same length and it should fit without any problems, it did for me.
