Curcuma extract with piperine from the extract of black pepper (Bioperine). Indian turmeric (Curcuma longa) belongs to the ginger family. Curcuma species grow in South East Asia. The various types of curcuma differ in the composition and concentration of essential oils and curcuminoids. The formula of Pura Curcumin with Bioperine has a standardised curcuminoid content of 95 %. It also contains a black pepper with piperine extract, which can improve the bioavailability of curcumin.
