What is Coenzyme Q10?

Coenzyme Q are molecules that form a ring structure known as a quinone structure. Since these substances occur in all living cells in nature, they are referred to as ubiquinones (Latin "ubi" means "everywhere"). In nature, coenzymes Q1 to Q10 are known. Coenzyme Q10 is a substance produced by the body that is essential for humans and is present in all cells of the human organism.

Q10 Requirement and Body Production

The human body produces Coenzyme Q10 itself. With normal function and a balanced diet, the body's own production is sufficient to ensure an adequate supply of Q10. Coenzyme Q10 is synthesized within human cells from the amino acids phenylalanine, tyrosine, and methionine. In addition to these amino acids, vitamins B12, folic acid, and other B vitamins are also needed as building blocks for Q10 production.

Recommended Intake

Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily, unchewed, with some liquid.
