Blackberries (Eurasian blueberries) are used as dietary supplements and contain a particularly high amount of anthocyanins.

In and under the skin of the blackberries, there is also a high content of vitamin C, beta-carotene, and vitamin E. These substances work together to capture so-called free radicals and prevent oxidation processes in the body.
