Parfums de Marly's fragrance creation "Safanad" honours the noble thoroughbred Arabian horse. Legend has it that the mare Safanad - the name means "the pure one" - was a gift from the Queen of Sheba to the wise King Solomon. Like a royal gift, the top notes shimmer with a ripe pear surrounded by orange blossom and orange fruit in equal measure. Finally, the floral components assert themselves - powdery iris and sweet, balsamic ylang-ylang take over the blooming regency.
