The creation of the Hermessence fragrance Oud Alezan is the result of a meeting between Christine Nagel, perfumer at Hermès, and extraordinary oud wood. "This feeling of immersing myself in a very intimate and sensual material awakened a special memory of a chestnut horse, whose scent I inhaled deeply while nestled against its neck."

The Bottle The glass bottle is coated in a plum-brown lacquer, beautifully contrasted by the chalk-white leather cap.
