Otrivin baby spray

Otrivin 0.05% pediatric nasal spray contains xylometazoline hydrochloride, the primary decongestant for the nose. It quickly alleviates nasal congestion by locally constricting blood vessels in the nasal mucosa, reducing swelling, and opening the airways. It also facilitates the drainage of the openings that connect the sinuses to the nasal cavity, ensuring they remain open. For children aged 2 to 11 years, spray once or twice daily into each nostril. Do not exceed 3 applications per day. The dosing spray allows for precise dosing and ensures that the solution is well distributed over the surface of the nasal mucosa. Use only under adult supervision. Detailed instructions: 1. Clear the nose by gently blowing. 2. Shake the bottle. 3. Hold the bottle upright. For first-time use, prime with a few pump actions until a fine mist is achieved. 4. Tilt the child's head slightly forward and insert the nozzle into one nostril. 5. Spray while gently inhaling and repeat the process for the other nostril. Otrivin recommends not blowing the nose in the first few minutes after use to allow the medication to take effect. Do not use continuously for more than 7 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist. To prevent possible spread of infection, each bottle should be used by only one person.
