A blessing for dry eyes are lubricants containing hyaluronic acid, which are included in the Hylo-Vision preparations. Similar to tear fluid, the hyaluronic acid in the eye drops moistens the eye surface (cornea and conjunctiva) in cases of dry, burning, or watery eyes. It forms a clear, long-lasting protective film on the eye surface and is well tolerated as a natural substance. Hyaluronic acid also supports the regeneration of the cornea in dry eyes. The often typical annoying sandy feeling disappears, and the eyes feel refreshed. Omnivision offers a comprehensive range of hyaluronic acid-containing eye drops. Most of these eye drops are preservative-free: Hylo-Vision Sine and Hylo-Vision Gel Sine in single-dose containers, Hylo-Vision Safedrop 0.1%, and Hylo-Vision Safedrop Gel in the innovative Safedrop system.
