Instant Duocal is a well-soluble carbohydrate-fat mixture in powder form. It is a dietary food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). It is intended for the dietary treatment of congenital, rare metabolic disorders and other diet-dependent conditions that require an energy-rich, fluid-restricted diet. Duocal serves to enrich energy with fat and carbohydrates in the form of a protein-free, low-electrolyte powdered food. The carbohydrate content consists of maltodextrin, while a blend of vegetable oils is used as the fat component. Duocal is gluten-free. Instant Duocal is versatile and can be used for liquid, semi-solid, and solid foods, as well as for drinks and tube feeding. Duocal can be added to infant formula. Origin: Germany
