Our Ultra Extra women's pad is the super-soft, highly absorbent version of our Ultra pads. They come with wings for better and more secure fixation and are conveniently individually packaged in biodegradable pouches for your handbag. The soft cover is made from certified organic cotton. With a cellulose core that has double absorption capacity, you will stay dry. The waterproof, plant-based underside provides additional protection.

Our pads are free from plastics, fragrances, and dyes, completely chlorine-free, biodegradable, and compostable. Did you know that conventional women's pads are made up of 90% plastics? Plastics pollute the environment and can irritate the skin. That's why we use over 99% biodegradable and compostable plant cellulose instead of highly absorbent polymers.

We focus on chlorine-free products, as chlorine bleaching produces a carcinogenic byproduct called dioxin. We do not want even a trace of that in our products, which is why we always use oxygen to clean and whiten our organic cotton.

Every year, more than 45 billion menstrual hygiene products are disposed of. Given the high plastic content of these products, burning them can lead to toxic emissions, while landfill disposal means that plastics remain in the environment forever.
