The Super tampons are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton and feature a smooth, easy-glide applicator made of cardboard, which is fully biodegradable. The two parts of the applicator can be easily twisted and pushed in opposite directions to release the tampon. The Natracare applicator has a rounded tip that makes insertion easier.

Many tampon applicators are made from petroleum-based or plant-based plastics that are not biodegradable and can contribute to global plastic pollution. These plastics may contain hormone-disrupting phthalates or unsuitable plastic additives that can be absorbed through the skin.

There are tampons made from viscose blends and even those that claim to be organic but are wrapped in a plastic veil to prevent fibers from the inner core from shedding during use. They may also contain fragrances, lubricants, or colorants that are completely unnecessary for managing your period.

For this reason, we use only 100% organic cotton and never genetically modified cotton or unnecessary plastic to keep pesticide residues, plastic, and harmful chemicals away from your vagina.
