Morga Artichoke aperitif

The pleasantly bitter-tasting artichokes were already consumed in ancient Rome. Artichokes helped the indulgent to restore their digestion after the famous feasts filled with rich food and plenty of alcohol. For similar purposes, there is an Italian bitter liqueur made from artichokes, which, however, contains additional sugar and alcohol. Taking artichokes before meals is more effective, for example, in the form of non-alcoholic artichoke cocktails as an aperitif. Artichokes gently accelerate intestinal transit and have a mild diuretic effect. Plants that stimulate bile production and bile flow, thereby contributing to better fat digestion, also contain bitter compounds. Their consumption reduces the feeling of fullness, as well as stomach pressure and bloating after a hearty meal. Artichokes are particularly effective in this regard.

Application: Take 1-2 tablespoons (approx. 15ml) of artichoke aperitif undiluted or diluted with water, tea, or fruit juice several times a day.
