Morga Artichoke aperitif

The pleasantly bitter-tasting artichokes were already enjoyed in ancient Rome. Artichokes helped the indulgent to get their digestion back on track after the famous feasts filled with rich food and plenty of alcohol. For similar purposes, there is an Italian bitter liqueur made from artichokes, which, however, contains additional sugar and alcohol. More effective is the consumption of artichokes before meals, such as in the form of non-alcoholic artichoke cocktails as an aperitif. Artichokes gently accelerate bowel movement and have a mild diuretic effect. Plants that stimulate bile production and bile flow, thereby contributing to better fat digestion, also contain bitter active ingredients. Their consumption reduces the feeling of fullness, as well as stomach pressure and bloating after a hearty meal. Artichokes are particularly effective in this regard.

Application: Take 1-2 tablespoons (about 15ml) of artichoke aperitif undiluted or diluted with water, tea, or fruit juice several times a day.
