Product details
Meridol med CHX 0.2% – the antibacterial mouthwash for acute inflammation in the oral cavity and gum problems, recommended by dentists.
For the short-term treatment of acute inflammation, Meridol med CHX 0.2% is particularly suitable as a supportive therapy for gum inflammation (gingivitis) and mucosal inflammation. It can also be effectively used after periodontal surgical procedures, such as wisdom tooth extraction. It is suitable for children aged 6 and older as well as adults.
Impact on dental health: Gum inflammation and periodontitis have far-reaching effects on our overall health, such as complications in heart disease, diabetes, and pregnancy. If gum inflammation is not halted, it can spread to the jawbone and lead to its deterioration.
Prevent and protect: Dental plaque is the cause of gum inflammation. Therefore, daily thorough cleaning is essential. Brushing teeth twice a day, supplemented by a mouthwash for interdental spaces, reduces the overall number of bacteria in the mouth. Regular visits to the dentist and professional dental cleaning are also important for oral care.
