Russian Leather is the latest addition to the Cuirs Nomades collection by MEMO Paris, all of which pay homage to leather. The result is an enchanting fragrance with character, created by perfumer Sophie Labbé. The Russian wolf inspired the scent: a wild, independent creature with an extraordinary sense of smell, guarding its territory – and adorning the precious bottle of Russian Leather. It is one of the few that can thrive in the solitude of the steppes, forests, and icy plains of Siberia, ruling over a merciless land. To envision Russian Leather, one must follow the trail of the majestic wolf in their imagination, discovering the balance of vibrant power and refinement, along with a leather harmony that possesses a magical aura: a sensual flash with Slavic nuances. The stubborn fern in the icy tundra inspired a stunning Fougère accord. Aromatic flora explodes upon contact with sunlight, featuring notes of rosemary, mint, lavender, sage, and basil. The coniferous forests of the Taiga come to life with Siberian pine, cypress, and cedar. The wolf howling at the moon: it seeks to prove its existence and call its kind. A fragrance is no different – its uniqueness is the call to encounter one another.
