The wooden toothbrushes are completely manufactured in Switzerland, starting with the sourcing of FSC-certified Swiss beech wood and continuing with production that takes place 100% in Switzerland. The wooden handle is coated with plant-based vegan wax for gentle brushing and to protect the wood from moisture.
The Liebwerk wooden toothbrushes feature soft bristles, making them the safest choice for protecting teeth and gums. The soft bristles provide a gentle yet thorough cleaning while avoiding unwanted damage to tooth enamel, which is often the case with hard bristles. The rounded bristles are another important component of our toothbrushes. They protect sensitive gums from irritation and subsequent gum recession. It has been clinically proven that soft rounded bristles effectively remove plaque and food particles without harming the mouth and teeth. We recommend replacing the toothbrush after about three months of use. Simply break off the bristle head and dispose of the 100% biodegradable handle in organic waste. This way, it gets a second life as soil fertilizer or as a resource for generating heat, electricity, or fuel.
The cardboard packaging is 100% recyclable and will be used again to produce cardboard or packaging. Recycling cardboard reduces cardboard waste in landfills, decreases the need for raw materials, and lowers greenhouse gas emissions from cardboard production.
