Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories are suppositories designed for use in the vagina, containing a mixture of lactic acid and sodium lactate. These vaginal suppositories can be used to maintain or regulate the natural pH level in the vagina. Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories are applied to preserve and restore a natural pH level in the vagina. The maintenance or acidification of the vaginal environment with lactic acid supports the growth of typical vaginal bacteria (lactic acid-producing bacteria) and simultaneously has an adverse effect on the growth of pathogens in the vaginal area. Therefore, Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories can be used preventively for those prone to vaginal infections and as a supplement to medical treatment of vaginal infections.
Application:
1× daily. 1 suppository in the evening before going to bed.
