Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories are suppositories designed for use in the vagina, containing a mixture of lactic acid and sodium lactate. These vaginal suppositories can be used to maintain or regulate the natural pH level in the vagina. Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories are applied to preserve and restore a natural pH level in the vagina. The maintenance or acidification of the vaginal environment with lactic acid supports the growth of typical vaginal bacteria (lactic acid-producing bacteria) and negatively affects the growth of pathogens in the vaginal area. Therefore, Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories can be used preventively in cases of susceptibility to vaginal infections and as a complement to medicinal treatment of vaginal infections.

Application: Once daily. One suppository in the evening before bedtime.
