Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories are suppositories for use in the vagina that contain a mixture of lactic acid and sodium lactate. The vaginal suppositories can be used to maintain or regulate the natural pH value in the vagina. Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories are used to maintain and restore a natural pH value in the vagina. Maintaining or acidifying the vaginal environment with lactic acid supports the growth of typical vaginal bacteria (lactic acid-producing bacteria) and at the same time has an unfavourable effect on the growth of pathogens in the vaginal area. Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories can therefore be used as a preventative measure if you are prone to vaginal infections and as a supplement to medication for vaginal infections. Use: in adult women, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in girls after consultation with a doctor. Application: 1× daily. 1 ovule in the evening before going to bed.
