Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories are suppositories designed for use in the vagina, containing a mixture of lactic acid and sodium lactate. The vaginal suppositories can be used to maintain or regulate the natural pH level in the vagina. Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories are applied to maintain and restore a natural pH level in the vagina. The maintenance or acidification of the vaginal environment with lactic acid supports the growth of typical vaginal bacteria (lactic acid-producing bacteria) and negatively affects the growth of pathogens in the vaginal area. Therefore, Lactofem lactic acid vaginal suppositories can be used preventively for those prone to vaginal infections and as a supplement to medical treatment for vaginal infections.

  • during pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • for girls after consulting a doctor

Usage: 1× daily. 1 suppository in the evening before bedtime.
