Lactasan capsules for the gut. With Lactasan, Spenglersan GmbH has developed a product that draws on the methods of physician and researcher Dr. Carl Spengler. Over 100 years ago, the doctor worked with lactic acid and citric acid as a basis for cell regeneration. As a bacteriologist, Spengler was aware that gut health is governed by good bacteria, which require an acidic environment for their full development. In addition to right-handed lactic acid and apple cider vinegar, Lactasan contains zinc bisglycinate to support kidney function and care for the intestinal mucosa. Calcium serves to neutralize acidity intracellularly. The long-chain inulin from artichoke has the highest degree of polymerization among all studied inulins, making it the most efficient of the inulins. Lactasan acts as a prebiotic to prepare the gut flora through right-handed lactic acid, apple cider vinegar, and the long-chain carbohydrate inulin as "food" for the good bacteria in the gut, along with Intestisan containing seven different bacterial strains from the genera Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium for the regenerative colonization of the gut, each at a concentration of 10^9 and microencapsulated for gastric acid resistance. Prebiotics are defined as food components that we humans cannot digest well. They thus pass undigested through the small intestine to the large intestine, serving as an energy source for the gut flora.
