Lacalut Extra Sensitive Toothpaste

Erosive and abrasive processes on tooth enamel, as well as gum recession, can lead to sensitive teeth. The exposed sensitive tooth necks allow external stimuli to reach the tooth nerve. The special formulation desensitizes the sensitive tooth necks and can thus prevent pain transmission.

Potassium chloride improves nerve cells. Potassium and strontium salts have proven effective, among other things, for hypersensitive teeth. They have different modes of action. Potassium salts protect and soothe by forming a protective layer around the tooth nerve, resulting in reduced sensitivity to pain. Strontium salts have an astringent effect and close the pain-conducting dentinal tubules. The specific ingredient aluminum lactate supports this effect with its own astringent properties, meaning that the sensitive tooth necks are desensitized by interrupting the conductivity of fluid in the dentinal tubules.
