The tail comb has been specifically designed for strength and durability. The sharp tip allows for precise sectioning of hair and quick manipulation. The comb is made from high-quality, impact-resistant plastic known as polyoxymethylene. Its excellent properties, similar to those of metal, provide dimensional and thermal stability and can be sterilized with steam. It is highly resistant, antistatic, and friction-reducing. The comb maintains its shape up to 40 degrees Celsius, with a melting point of 175 degrees Celsius.
