Henri Almeras, a French perfumer trained in Grasse, collaborated with couturier Jean Patou from 1925 to 1933 and was the nose behind this scent, which can be worn year-round, day or night. It has a long-lasting presence and a moderate to enormous sillage. The fragrance features top notes of neroli, daffodil, bergamot, lily of the valley, and black currant. The heart notes consist of clove, jasmine, and tuberose, while vetiver, musk, and civet form the base notes.
