Hydrophil Bamboo

Even though a toothbrush only contributes a small part to plastic waste pollution, the annual consumption results in a significant amount of waste. Considering that it is recommended to change your toothbrush every three months, it is easy to calculate how many brushes end up in the trash each year. To create an alternative to plastic brushes and tackle the waste problem, the Hydrophil toothbrush made from bamboo was developed. The bristles are made from Nylon 4 combined with activated charcoal and, like the brush handle, are also biodegradable. At the end of its lifespan, the toothbrush can simply be buried in the garden or thrown onto the compost pile.
