The wormwood with its bitter substances forms the basis of this drink, which is described by Hildegard of Bingen as a particularly beneficial spring remedy. According to the original recommendation, a liqueur glass should be taken every third day before breakfast between May and October. However, the treatment can also be carried out throughout the year if needed.
