The story behind it
A combination of the English word "rug" and the French expression "à barres", meaning "striped", this fragrance for men takes inspiration from traditional horse blankets made in the Hermes workshops, with blue and red stripes on a saffron background. Created in 1998 by Gilles Romey, Rocabar reveals its most powerful facets in tones of wood, balsams and resins, emphasised by the full-bodied notes of cypress in its scent trail.

The founders bear witness to the first encounters between the House of Hermes and the fragrance. They tell the story of Hermes' living heritage, its references and secrets. These fragrances are timeless, yet always contemporary.
