Samsara is part of the legendary Guerlain fragrance collection. A collection of emblematic fragrances composed by 5 generations of perfumers for more than a century. These mythical pioneer fragrances form a unique olfactory library that the House of Guerlain endeavours to preserve.

Samsara is an elixir of seduction for a woman who has found harmony and serenity, expressed above all through the raw materials of the composition: sandalwood and jasmine, which until then had only been used for religious offerings.

The flacon designed by Georges Chevalier with its iconic "inverted heart" is decorated with graceful scrollwork typical of the Art Nouveau style. Its avant-garde stopper in the shape of a hollowed-out heart recalls the delicate romanticism of this masterpiece of perfumery and was a technical feat at the time.
