Gigasept Pearls Instrument Disinfection (1.5 kg)
Gigasept Pearls are an innovative disinfectant based on active oxygen for the effective cleaning and disinfection of medical instruments, particularly for sensitive materials and flexible endoscopes. The pearl formulation is dust-free and reduces the risk of inhalation, making the application particularly safe. They are ideal for manual preparation, use in ultrasonic baths, and in semi-automatic circulation systems.
The synergistic combination of active oxygen, multi-enzyme formula, and powerful surfactants enables reliable disinfection and thorough cleaning in one step. The formulation is non-protein-fixing and gentle on materials, even with sensitive substances like silicone, acrylic glass, or polycarbonate. Gigasept Pearls are bactericidal, tuberculocidal, fungicidal, virucidal, and sporicidal, providing comprehensive protection while maintaining high environmental compatibility.
- Excellent cleaning performance through enzyme combination (protease, lipase, amylase)
- High material compatibility for flexible and thermolabile instruments
- Dust-free pearl form for safe and easy application.

Instructions for use | The disinfectant beads of the instrument are diluted with cold water to the desired utilisation concentration. Dosage: 1 % - 2 %, depending on the microbiological effectiveness. Prepare the solution with the enclosed dosing spoon. Application example: 10 litres of a 2% working solution corresponds to 9.8 litres of water and 200g (200 g = 300ml) Gigasept-Perlen®. Further information on dosing can be found in the dosing table on the next page. First measure out the required amount of water and add the correct amount of beads. Stir several times for 15 minutes. The working solution is then ready for use. Small undissolved residues do not impair the effectiveness of the working solution, but do represent an effective activity depot. Immerse the endoscopes and instruments to be treated in the solution. Ensure complete immersion and, particularly in the case of hollow instruments, that all air has escaped from the instrument. After treatment, rinse the instruments thoroughly with water of at least drinking water quality, preferably deionised water, to completely remove residues from the working solution. Follow the preparation recommendations of the instrument manufacturer. Do not mix with other cleaning agents or disinfectants. National regulations may require cleaning and disinfection to be carried out in two separate steps. Tool life: Replace the solution every working day or when contamination is clearly visible. |
