The active principle, as with every application of the Toxaprevent series PURE and PLUS, is based on the ability to bind unwanted substances such as ammonium, excess histamine, as well as other amines and toxic substances like heavy metals (e.g., mercury from dental fillings), which are significantly involved in the development of halitosis. The effect unfolds due to its administration as a chewable tablet starting from the oral cavity and continues to the throat. Histamine, which frequently occurs due to inflammation in the mouth and throat, as well as ammonium and related forms, should be considered as leading components.

Halitosis has various causes. Below are different disease triggers that explain the use of the chewable tablets:
